He released both It Ain't Necessarily So, But It Is Normie Rowe and Normie Rowe A Go-Go in 1965 on the Sunshine label through Festival, and they are absolute classics of Australian rock music. Normie was backed by the band The Playboys and ripped out soulful and hard-hitting renditions of tracks such as Gershwin's 'It Ain't Necessarily So', 'Shakin' All Over', 'Tell Him I'm Not Home', 'I Want You Back Again' and more. The CD comes with lots of bonus cuts: B sides, and live tracks. Exceptionally remastered by Gil Matthews and comes housed in the usual exemplary packaging.
