For 16 years now, Siena Root have been showing what Sweden has to offer when it comes to retro rock, and at the same time showing that retro and fresh sound are not mutually exclusive.

With The Secret Of Our Time they present their new album in 2020, the successor of A Dream Of Lasting Peace from 2017.

Siena Root have recorded nine tracks for it, currently consisting of Sam Riffer (bass), Love Forsberg (percussion), Erik Petersson (organ) and Matte Gustavsson (guitar).

In addition, a few guest musicians are waiting for The Secret Of Our Time as usual, including ex-colleague KG Westman, Stefan Koglek of the Munich stoner and psychedelic rock band Colour Haze or the Swedish blues singer Lisa Lystam. The latter can be heard in the first single When A Fool Wears The Crown.
