Who was/is Rockin' Saints ? - CDs, Vinyl LPs, DVD and more

There's little more to the Rockin' Saints than the name on their two Decca singles: Saints' Rock c/w All Right Baby issued in October 1959 and Cheat On Me Baby c/w Half And Half released in October 1960. Two titles, including Over The Rainbow, remain unissued.

Cheat On Me Baby, also released in the UK, was written by two of the group, Hayden Brown and William Crandall Jr. Others are known only by their surnames: Moyers, Mohroff and Triolo. They may have emerged from The Royal Teens whose personnel included Billy Crandall. The group had a novelty hit with Short Shorts (#3 in 1958) and Billy Crandall, the saxophonist from Fort Lee, New Jersey, played alongside Bob Gaudio, the Royal Teens' pianist who went on to form the Four Seasons. The Rockin' Saints All Right Baby also appeared on the Royal Teens' Tru-Gems album.
