(Delta Music) 12 tracks

Pussycat – Starportrait is a 1992 LaserLight Digital CD compilation featuring 12 recordings by the Dutch pop group. The collection includes the internationally known hit „Mississippi“ together with „Teenage Queenie“, „It's The Same Old Song“, „Georgie“, „Wet Day In September“, „Doin' La Bamba“, „I'll Be Your Woman“, „If You Ever Come To Amsterdam“, „Mexicali Lane“, „Help Me Living On“, „Bad Boy“ and „You Don't Know“. With a playing time of approximately 44 minutes, the release offers a compact selection from Pussycat's repertoire. Issued in Germany in 1992 under catalogue number 16 028, Starportrait is an interesting CD for listeners who enjoy European pop from the 1970s and for collectors of Pussycat releases. The combination of the well-known „Mississippi“ and less familiar album material makes this compilation a useful addition to a vintage pop collection.
