Newly expanded 3CD edition of the Procol Harum classic from 1975 with eight bonus tracks - five of them unreleased - from sessions and concert recordings at the Capitol Theater, Passaic, New Jersey and at Leicester University in October and November 1975.

The illustrated booklet contains liner notes by Procol Harum expert Roland Clare and exclusive interview quotes from Gary Brooker. "Procol's Ninth" was released in August 1975 and was part of a series of recording sessions at The Who's Ramport Studio in Battersea, produced by legendary songwriting and production team Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller.

Procol's Ninth - written by Gary Brooker and lyricist Keith Reid - spawned songs such as Pandora's Box (a hit single in July 1975), The Unquiet Zone, Fool's Gold and Typewriter Torment. The album was also famous for two cover versions: Leiber and Stoller's I Keep Forgetting and Eight Days a Week by Lennon and McCartney.
