“Gram Parsons - The Early Years - Volume 1 & 2” delivers the 1979 Sierra Records release ‘Gram Parsons - The Early Years’ with bonus tracks on CD.

This CD is based on “Gram Parsons - The Early Years-Volume 1”, 1963-65 folk recordings by “Gram Parsons and the Shilos” with all original tracks from the 1979 LP, which has since been classified as a groundbreaking classic. Added is “Volume 2” of lost early solo recordings by Gram, recorded by Dick Weissman and featuring some never-before-heard Parsons compositions! Also included are recordings of “Gram Parsons & The Like”, his more experimental band from the time of his brief residency at Harvard University in 1965. These include a rare performance with the later actor, Brandon deWilde. Completing this collection is the “Holy Grail” of lost Gram Parsons recordings; Brandon deWilde as lead singer with Gram on “Do Right Woman” and “Hickory Wind”!
