Founded in the fall of 1981, PANKOW is still one of the most successful German bands on this side of the Elbe.
In relation to poetic lyrics and many a lyrical rant, Pankow sounds more like the "Stones of the East".
Their lyrics get to the point: "Seen the same country too long, heard the same language too long, waited too long, hoped too long, worshipped the same men too long..."

On the occasion of their 40th band anniversary, we are releasing the 5 original Amiga albums that were unavailable for a long period of time and a real highlight of their career! The lost concert for their 10th anniversary! There Pankow toured the East with the Big Band of the Western Group of the Soviet Armed Forces as well as various guests. The final concert took place on 13.12.1991 in "Die Halle" in Berlin-Weissensee. Now it is available - a great musical document.
