Robert Palmer's career spans over 25 years and many different styles of music, including jazz, R&B, reggae, pop, funk, right up to the harder dance sounds such as on “Some Like It Hot”, on which he was featured as a member of Power Station.

Palmer's career began in the 60s. Over the years he has won a number of awards, including Best Male Rock Vocals (on “Addicted To Love”) and an MTV Video Music Award. This double album on vinyl offers an overview of Palmer's musical career. Some lesser known songs interspersed with hits like “Every Kind a People”, “Johnny And Mary”, “Pride”, “Addicted To Love” and many others.

“I'll Be Your Baby Tonight”, written by Bob Dylan, was recorded with the British reggae band UB40. This single became a worldwide hit, reaching a top 10 position in Holland and the UK and solid positions in the charts in the USA, Germany and France. Sadly, Robert Palmer, superstar and musical genius, died of a heart attack in 2003 at the age of just 57.
