The Ovations

US Vocal Group, Queens, NJ

Sammy Cantos, aus Queens NY, gründete seine erste Gruppe The Galaxy's in den frühen 1960er Jahren.1964 unter der Leitung von Neil Levenson (Randy und The Rainbows) punktete die Gruppe nun mit "Who needs love" bei Josie und ein Jahr später mit "Remember Lori" bei Ascot als Little Romeo und den Casanovas.

1986 reformierte sich die Gruppe und veröffentlichte 1987 das Crystal Ball Album, "High School Reunion", unter der Leitung von Steve "The Gem" Dworkin. Mehrere personelle Veränderungen fanden statt und schließlich trennten sich die Ovations und Sammy wurde der Leadsänger der Wrenditions, mit dem er noch heute zusammen ist.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Ovations auf Capital, Epic, Old Town und Andie eine New Jersey Gruppe unter der Leitung von Richard Kelly waren und in keiner Weise miteinander verbunden sind.
