Carla Olson is known as a solo artist, bandleader (The Textones) and producer. She has worked in various constellations with Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor, Percy Sledge, Ry Cooder, Gene Clark, Don Henley, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, John Fogerty, Mikael Rickfors and many others. In the 1980s, Byrd member Gene Clark (including the duet album “So Rebellious a Lover”) and Mick Taylor were among her musical partners.

In 2013, Carla Olsen released “Have Harmony, Will Travel”, her first album since “The Ring Of Truth” (2001), a cover album with many guest singers such as Rob Waller, John York, Richie Furay, Juice Newton, James Inveldt, Scott Kempner, Peter Case and Gary Myrick.

“Have Harmony Will Travel 2” now continues this concept. Guests include Eagles Timothy B. Schmit, British Invasion idol Peter Noone and there is archive footage with Percy Sledge and Gene Clark.
