The Sundazed Records Label

The Sundazed Records Label

The U.S. label Sundazed was founded in 1989 by Bob Irwin as a CD reissue company after he quit working as a manager and buyer for a chain of music retailers. He wanted to set his focus on the more interesting side roads and byways of the Pop charts, Garage, Psychedelia, Surf and Rockabilly. He found his own niche in the melting pot of worldwide reissue labels.

The roster of artists on Sundazed reissues includes titan names in music history, from Lou Reed and Iggy Pop, Simon & Garfunkel and Janis Joplin, via Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dick Dale, Buck Owens and Link Wray to legendary 60s Garage rockers The Shadow Of Knight, The Trashmen and The Remains, as well as major works by Skip Spence, Roger McGuinn and The Lovin' Spoonful. Sundazed also started vinyl reissues in its long and succesful history in LP, ten-inch and seven-inch form. Whether it's exact reproductions of storied works by Johnny Cash, the mono pressings of Bob Dylan's early albums or unreleased gems, all being reissued on high quality vinyl, incl. colored and 180g vinyl.

And there's more to await from Sundazed in the musical future!
