Chester Chandler, aka Memphis Gold was born in Memphis, Tennessee on March 4, 1955. He has worked with a.o. R.L. Burnside, Deborah Coleman, Memphis Staples, and Little Jimmy Reed. He was a member of the legendary Fieldstones. Since a couple of years now, he has stepped out in his own and has released several highly acclaimed CDs. Cool stuff, original material. Recommended.
