Two years after his previous album Dead Ringer, Meat Loaf released his third studio album Mightnight At The Lost And Found. Due to a dispute with his former songwriter Jim Steinman, he looked for other songwriters to help him record Midnight At The Lost And Found. The result was a total of ten tracks, four of which were co-written by Meat Loaf, and a cover version of Elvis' big hit Promised Land penned by Chuck Berry.

The album contained three singles: Razor's Edge, If You Really Want To and the title track. Immediately after its release, the album reached the Top 10 of the UK album charts.

Midnight At The Lost And Found is available in a limited edition of 2500 individually numbered copies on silver and black marbled vinyl and includes an insert with lyrics.
