geb. 11. 1. 1919 in Willow Hill/ Pennsylvanien Record Labels: Tradition, Elektra, Prestige, Riverside, Bear Family Ed McCurdy, Sänger, Gitarrist und Komponist, war einer der wichtigsten Vertreter der Folk-Song-Bewegung der 50er und 60er Jahre. Er war vor allem in Kanada aktiv, wo erviele Jahrzehnte lang lebte und das bekannte Lied ,Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream“ schrieb.
