Before Butch Walker was producing and/or writing songs for such major artists as Pink, Fall Out Boy, Avril Lavigne, Weezer, Green Day, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, he fronted this fondly remembered power-pop trio.

The "Hey! album" originally appeared as an independent release in 1998, but the band re-recorded almost half of the album when they signed with Elektra, who released it in 1999. The extra work paid off, as the record had a hit with "Freak of the Week" and introduced Walker's catchy and sardonically self-deprecating songwriting to the masses (it also earned Marvelous 3 fashion tracks for Abercrombie & Fitch and Calvin Klein.... they were, as they say, simply for the eyes).

This Real Gone reissue marks the first time the "Hey! album" has hit music stores on vinyl, and for its debut, we're pressing it in pretty pink vinyl with a printed inner sleeve featuring song lyrics. A classic of the 90s!
