Who was/is Marguerite Trina ? - CDs, Vinyl LPs, DVD and more

Marguerite Trina
Our last Bella release on this compilation is a Christmas novelty bopper by Marguerite Trina with her plea to Santa called The Rocking Tree. Typical teenage fare until the wailing saxophone and the guitar kick in for all-too-brief solos. Her voice sounds nice, clean, and innocent. I wonder if Marguerite Trina was John Pusateri’s secretary, forced to sing as Bella needed something quick for Christmas. She was born Marguerite Trina Magnano on September 5, 1940. According to her family name, she was most likely of Italian heritage. Marguerite passed away at the age of 72 on February 3, 2013 and she is buried at the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. Her lone Bella single remains her only release.
