Mamas Gun Golden Days (LP)

Modern soul meets the unmistakable sounds of the golden era of 1970s soul! With Golden Days, Mamas Gun deliver an engaging album blending soul, funk, blue-eyed soul and AOR influences. Frontman Andy Platts and his band combine catchy melodies with warm horn arrangements, infectious rhythms and a touch of West Coast sound. The album was produced by the band themselves and recorded live using analogue equipment. Special contributions include horn players Andy Ross and Dominic Glover, while multi-instrumentalist Shawn Lee assisted with the mix. Featuring ten original compositions, including “You Make My Life A Better Place”, “I Need A Win”, “We” and the title track “Golden Days”.
