geb. 9. 7. 1907 in Posey - Texas Record Labels: Decca, Majestic, Mercury, Crystal, Sage & Sand, Shasta, Capitol Erster Hit: I Dreamed Of A Hillbilly Heaven (1955) Edward Dean Glosup, genannt Eddie Dean, ist Sänger und Komponist. Er war viele Jahre Mitglied beim National Barndance und kam dank guter Verbindungen nach Hollywood zum Film. Daneben wirkte er in zahlreichen Radio- und Fernsehshows mit. Als Sänger war er wenig erfolgreich, dafür hatte er mit seinen Eigenkompositionen umso mehr Erfolg. Zusammen mit Hal Southern hatte er den Hit „I Dreamed Of A Hillbilly Heaven“ geschrieben.
