Formed in 1985, they disbanded in 2000 before reuniting in 2015.

Perhaps because bassist Jennifer Finch left the band during the recording sessions, the 1996 album The Beauty Process - Triple Platinum was never properly appreciated. Donita Sparks, however, counts it among her favorite L7 albums; it's simultaneously the heaviest album they've ever released and the most diverse, with delicate songs like Me, Myself, and I and Moonshine contrasting with the metallic, industrial chaos of Drama. Twenty-five years is a long time to wait for an L7 album to come out on vinyl.... for its overdue debut.
