Max Kuttner

* February 24, 1883 - October 17, 1953.

Born in Vienna, he came to the German capital shortly after the turn of the century and soon turned out to be a brilliant actor and operetta buffo. His appearances on Berlin radio and his work as a record artist further increased his popularity. He earns his living for the phono industry, which is still in its infancy, when he sings: "I have a gramophone at home". - Since Kuttner is of Jewish descent, he emigrated to Shanghai in 1933. After the end of the Second World War, he returned to Germany and settled in Straubing, Bavaria.
