In 2007, Plant and Alison Krauss released Raising Sand, one of the most acclaimed albums of the 21st century. It was an unlikely, fascinating pairing of one of rock music's greatest frontmen with one of country music's finest and most honored artists, produced by the legendary T Bone Burnett. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number two, went platinum and won six Grammys, including Album and Record of the Year awards.

Now, after fourteen years, the two icons return with Raise the Roof, a dozen songs from a range of traditions and styles that expand this remarkable collaboration in new and exciting directions.

Plant and Krauss, however, were determined not to simply repeat a formula. "We wanted it to move," Krauss says. "We brought in other people, other personalities within the band, and coming back together in the studio brought a new intimacy to the harmonies."
