Kenny And Moe (The Blues Boys) So Long - I'm Gone - Double Talk Baby (7inch, 45rpm)

(DeLuxe) 2 tracks

Nice male duet from 1957 in the style of a singing group. I'm Gone is a super jaunty number with fine lead vocals, probably by Kenny, reminiscent of Richard Berry. The cool, sparse backing gives the vocals plenty of room to shine. The flip side of the coin is a faster tempo with fuller instrumentation and a double vocal, rather than Kenny or Moe singing individually.
