Stephen Kellog & The Sixers: The Bear (LP)

Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers deliver The Bear, a compelling album from the early career of the American singer-songwriter. Released by Vanguard in 2009, the LP combines melodic folk rock, acoustic textures and strong, catchy songwriting. Kellogg’s distinctive voice is at the heart of twelve songs including The Bear, A (With Love), Shady Esperanto And The Young Hearts, See Yourself, Oh Adeline, Dying Wish Of A Teenager, All Part Of The Show, Satisfied Man, My Old Man, May Day, Mabeline and Born In The Spring. The vinyl edition is especially interesting for collectors because it includes May Day, a track not featured on the CD edition. A great choice for listeners who appreciate authentic singer-songwriter music, folk rock and American roots-oriented pop with memorable melodies and a personal touch.
