Meisterklasse!

Das ist allerbeste Qualität, eine Aufnahme von Spitzenmusikern, perfekt im Zusammenspiel, super Sound, super Groove, und erstaunlich zeitlos.
Jim Kahrs Gitarrenspiel ist beeindruckend, aber fast noch beeindruckender ist, wie er auch singt! Das habe ich bei anderen sehr renommierten, singenden Gitarristen der Bluesszene immer vermisst - nicht hier, Kahr singt voller Power und echtem Gefühl, man spürt, dass er in dieser seiner Musik absolut zu Hause ist, das ist echt, nichts Nachgemachtes.

Seine Version von "It's a man's world" (James Brown), ein Live-Mitschnitt und einer von zwei Cover-Songs, die auf dieser LP enthalten sind, ist einmalig, ich habe das von keinen anderen Interpreten nach James Brown jemals so gehört.
