Mitglieder: Gabe Ward, Klarinette; Hezzie Triesch, Whistle, Waschbrett, Schlagzeug, Alt-Horn; Kenny Triesch, Banjo, Tenor-Gitarre, Bass-Horn; Frank Kettering, Banjo, Gitarre, Flöte, Bass, Piano Record Labels: ARC, Vocalion, Sunbeam, Mary Ann “Are You Ready, Hezzie?“ diese Frage signalisierte jahrelang die Ankunft dieser verrückten Gruppe im Programm des WLS National Barn Dance. 1935 waren die vier Musiker zum Barn Dance nach Chicago gekommen und hatten von dort aus ihre närrische Musik, darunter viele Parodien, verbreitet. Die Hoosier Hot Shots gelten als eine Art Vorläufer von Spike Jones mit einer Mischung aus Country Music und Jazz.
