After the death of his father, Morris Holt aka Magic Slim, Shawn Holt is taking the lead role in his daddy's band, the Teardrops. And he does a rock solid job. It may be difficult to stept out of his father's shadow, though. His dad is the late Magic Slim, a legend who has written Chicago blues history. Probably, Shawn Holt has the potential and talent to create a musical concept of his won. This album sounds like a copy of Magic Slim's music.
