After the first two highly acclaimed CDs / LPs by the Gregor Hilden Organ Trio, “New Boogaloo” is now the third album, which contains a host of carefully and elaborately produced tracks alongside subtle, intimate, blues-jazz sounds and funky grooves! Studio technology was used intensively to refine the sound spectrum with various guitar tracks. Bandleader and producer Gregor Hilden demonstrates a fine knack for delicate arrangements, using electric and acoustic guitars with elegant solos as well as rougher riffs on various vintage instruments.
 Half of the tracks are written by Hilden himself - mostly co-compositions by Hilden and organist Wolfgang Roggenkamp, who can also be heard singing on two of the songs. Guest musicians such as saxophonist Volker Winck, trumpeter Christian Kappe and the famous vocalist Soleil Niklasson add color and variety to the exciting mix of blues, R&B, funk - and a good dose of rock!
