The sound is called West Coast, and it's the timelessness that makes artists like Dan Fogelberg and bands like the Doobie Brothers, America and the Eagles so fascinating. The magic in these songs has never been crushed between fads and the zeitgeist.

The band High South, consisting of the four American thoroughbred musicians Jamey Garner (41), Dillon Dixon (44), Marc Copely (41) and youngster Kevin Campos (25), are reviving precisely this spirit.

With their debut album “Now”, they deliver an absolutely coherent album that comes across as unagitated, super beautiful and casual.
15 lovingly produced tracks that reveal their hit potential on first listen. Titles such as “What About Now”, for example: the straightforward song is a classic West Coast rocker with the exemplary polished High South vocals. Another musical highlight of the album is undoubtedly the ballad-like anthem “All You Ever Needed”, the extremely laid-back “Sweet Simplicity” or the dreamy “One Night At A Time”. And you could easily list another 11 tracks...High South are a real highlight!
