Who was/is Dennis Herrold ? - CDs, Vinyl LPs, DVD and more

Dennis Herrold, born on 12 December 1927 in Abermarle County, Virginia, has made himself immortal with his 45rpm single 'Hip Hip Baby' b/w 'Make With The Lovin'! Dennis Herrold's wife Erma Lee Herrold wrote the second hit 'Stood Up' for none other than Ricky Nelson, which was recorded by Dennis Herrold and sent as acetate to 'Imperial'. The contact to 'Imperial Records' came about through the country and rockabilly musician Dub Dickerson, who was signed at the same time as Dennis Herrold in 1958! Dennis Herrold recorded a total of four tracks, but only two of them were released on a single. Dennis Herrold died on 7 February 2002 in Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico.
