Record Labels: Okeh, RCA, Bear Family Crockett Kelly Harrell gehört zu den ganz frühen Country-Music-Pionieren. Seine ersten Platten für Okeh datieren zurück in`s Jahr 1924. Während Harrell als Sänger längst vergessen ist, werden seine Songs auch heute noch gesungen, zum Beispiel „New River Train“, ,Away Out On The Mountain“ oder „The Butcher Boy“. Kelly Harrell wurde dann irgendwann, ähnlich wie Vernon Dalhart, aus dem Music Business gedrängt und arbeitete später in einer Fabrik.
