Die Sängerin Connie Hall wurde Ende 50er und in den 60er Jahren vor allem von Pappy Daily, dem Mitbegründer von Starday Records, gefördert. Zwischen 1960 und 1963 gelangen ihr auch ein paar bemerkenswerte Hits, dennoch, der Durchbruch zum Top-Star gelang ihr nie.
