Greenwood, Jonny The Master (LP & CD)

The soundtrack to Paul Thomas Anderson’s film The Master was composed by Jonny Greenwood, known as Radiohead’s guitarist and for his distinctive work in film music. His score combines orchestral writing with unusual textures and a tense, atmospheric approach. The music accompanies the film’s complex story, creating an intense sound world shaped by restraint, unease and emotional tension. Released by Nonesuch Records in 2012, the soundtrack contains 13 tracks. This edition pairs an LP with an additional CD, making it an appealing physical release for collectors of Greenwood’s film compositions. Fans of Radiohead, contemporary soundtrack music and Paul Thomas Anderson’s films may find it a particularly interesting addition to their collections.
