Who was/is JOHNNY GARNER ? - CDs, Vinyl LPs, DVD and more

We know even less about JOHNNY GARNER who sings Didi Didi in lightly measured tones on a shuffling rocker derived from the coda to Elvis's That's All Right. He appears to have used his real name - the song is credited to J.W. Garner Jr. - and a deejay with the same handle spun the records at KIHN in Hugo, Oklahoma in 1956.
