Raymond Froggatt
Pech hat er als Interpret gehabt, der Sänger und Komponist (geb. 13. November 1941) aus Birmingham: Er veröffentlichte 1968 sein Callow-la-vita ohne Resonanz, Dave Clark nannte es Red Balloon und landete mit einer müderen Version einen Chart-Treffer.
Froggatt kassierte immerhin als Autor, schrieb auch Top-Titel für Cliff Richard, Lulu, Joan Baez und Leon Russell. Bis heute spielte er rund 15 Alben ein, gilt als einer der besten Country-Interpreten Englands, der seine Platten auch schon im US-C&W-Mekka Nashville produzierte.
