geb. 15. 2. 1917 im Bartow County - GeorgiaRecord Labels: Decca, KingWally Fowler war Komponist und Leiter einer frühen OpryBand, den Georgia Clodhoppers. Er schrieb in den 40erJahren ein paar große Hits wie ,I`m Sending You RedRoses“ und ,That's How Much I Love You“. Dann widmeteer sich ausschließlich der Gospel Musik, wurde Mitglieddes John Daniel Quartet und gründete das berühmte OakRidge Quartet, aus dem später die Oak Ridge Boys wurden.
