(Music On Vinyl) 9 tracks, 180g transparent green and white marbled vinyl, limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies.

Velvett Fogg were one of many new bands on the underground scene formed in the late sixties that sought to elevate pop music to a higher level of creativity.

Velvett Fogg's self-titled (and only) album was released on the Pye label. Despite what some may have thought, the album is a good example of late 1960s British psychedelia. The band was led by soul singer Ernie Handy and guitarist Bob Hewitt.

The opener "Yellow Cave Woman" is a great piece of quasi-mystical heavy psych. The Bee Gees "New York Mining Disaster 1941" and The Weavers anti-war song "Come Away Melinda" are cover songs, but both are quite impressive. Their exciting stage show included a light show and a go-go dancer.
