Focus: Moving Waves (LP)

Focus – Moving Waves is a landmark of Dutch progressive rock, originally released in 1971 as Focus II. The band’s second studio album features Jan Akkerman, Thijs van Leer, Cyril Havermans and Pierre van der Linden, combining virtuosic guitar work, distinctive organ and flute passages and ambitious progressive rock arrangements. The album includes Hocus Pocus, Focus’s best-known and most successful single, while the extended Eruption demonstrates the band’s more expansive side. This remastered Music On Vinyl LP celebrates the album’s 55th anniversary and was created from first-generation studio master tapes by Focus and Jan Akkerman archivist Wouter Bessels. The numbered limited edition is restricted to 1,500 copies and pressed on Light Blue Marble Vinyl. EAN 8719262045798, catalogue number MOVLP4172. A highly attractive FOMO release for collectors and progressive rock fans.

"Focus"

Original Presse-Info: Deutsche Grammophon GmbH
