Er wird als'Der beste Country/Rockabilly-Sänger seit Willie Nelson' gefeiert. Wir können nur zustimmen. Jon Emery ist seit 1965 in der texanischen Musikszene unterwegs, als er und der spätere Gründer von Asleep At The Wheel, Leroy Preston, in einer Band namens The VIPs waren.
