After a break of 10 years, legendary singer/songwriter Rita Coolidge returns with her new studio album 2018: Safe In The Arms Of Times was recorded with an All-Star lineup by top musicians and produced by multiple Grammy winner Ross Hogarth! Rita Coolidge is a big and important name in the American music scene. 

As early as the 1970s, she worked in the country and adult pop scene with world stars such as Joe Cocker, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Dave Mason, Graham Nash and Stephen Stills. She also won two Grammy Awards with her then husband Kris Kristofferson. Internationally, she is mainly known as the singer of the James Bond song All Time High (recorded for Octopussy in 1983). She has sold millions of records and admires her numerous fans and the music scene for her ''deep, guttural and sexy voice'' (Rolling Stone).

Sie ist die jüngste Tochter eines Predigers und wurde am 1. 5.1945 in Nashville geboren. Schon als kleines Kind sang sie im Kirchenchor. In ihrer Heimatstadt Nashville wuchs sie mit Country- und Western- Music auf, und diese Musik bestimmt auch heute noch ihre Lieder. Ihre Karriere begann als Studiosängerin für Joe Cokker, Leon Russell, Dave Mason, Graham Nash und Eric Clapton. 1971 nahm sie ihre erste LP auf - „Rita Coolidge'. 1973 lernte sie Kris Kristofferson kennen.
