North Carolina-based bluegrass ensemble Chatham County Line is releasing their new studio album this spring. Sharing The Covers is the band's eighth LP. At its core, the album is a tribute to Chatham County Line's musical idols from the bluegrass and jazz genres, who are very close to their hearts.

At the same time, it offers the group a chance to perform modern and traditional classics in the bluegrass style for which they are known and loved. With a total of 13 tracks, the band remains true to its musical concept, but adds an exciting and captivating originality to its work by incorporating new influences and inspirations.

Various cover versions of songs by Tom Petty, Alton Delmore, John Lennon, the Louvin Brothers, Beck, James Hunter, and others impressively demonstrate this approach. Their penultimate album, Tightrope (2014), reached number 3 on the US Billboard Grass Charts; its successor, Autumn (2016), made it to number 1.
