Steve Chapman
Hailing from Virginia, Steve Chapman worked with a number of country artists including Don Reno & Red Smiley, Bill Anderson and Charlie Louvin before joining the Texas Troubadours at the start of 1967. While following Leon Rhodes was not an easy task, Chapman proved to be an excellent player as seen by his solos on the Ernest Tubb Show. Chapman left the Troubadours in 1969 and became a successful sessionman.
