Originally released in 2008, "Murder Of A Blues Singer" was only available directly from Austin Walkin' Cane and will now be officially available in stores for the first time. "Murder Of A Blues Singer" was inspired by a conversation with blues legend Robert Jr. Lockwood at an after-hours diner.

"The stories flowed like the grease off our plates," and so the album is drenched in classic Delta blues, as well as the tales of Lockwood's stepfather, Robert Johnson. "Murder Of A Blues Singer" was recorded in two sessions. One day with the full band and another as an acoustic session. The band managed to capture the perfect "live in the studio" feeling.
