Blues redemption from Joe Bonamassa

Joe Bonamassa only paid homage to his blues heroes at the beginning of the year with his concert album “British Blues Explosion Live”. Now the blues rock icon is back with another new studio album.

“Redemption” is the name of the virtuoso guitarist and singer's 13th work, which he released in 2018 on the Provogue/Mascot Label Group.

Twelve tracks await, which Joe recorded at Blackbird Studios and Addiction Sound Studios in Nashville, Studio At The Palms in Las Vegas and The Cave Australia in Sydney, among others. Kevin Shirley, an old acquaintance, took care of the production.

Drummer Anton Fig (David Letterman Band), bassist Michael Rhodes, keyboardist Reese Wynans, horn players Lee Thornburg and Paulie Cerra, singer Gary Pinto, backing vocalists Mahalia Barnes, Jade McRae, Juanita Tippins and even two additional guitarists: Kenny Greenberg and Doug Lancio support Bonamassa on the record.
