Their new album "Chronicles Of A Diamond" will be released on ATO Records. Produced by Quesada and mixed primarily by six-time Grammy Award winner Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes, The War on Drugs), Burton takes on the role of co-producer on the ten songs, infusing his free-spirited musicality into each track.

"It felt like a metamorphosis in a way that was both beautiful and difficult, but in the end feels more true to who we are as collaborators," says the singer. Although the songs were created in the studio, they definitely capture the crazy energy that arises during the pair's live shows. The result is a special hybrid of soul and symphonic pop that is crazier and more extravagant than its predecessor. Including unexpected excursions into jazz-funk and psychedelic realms with hypnotic rhythms, wild guitar riffs and atmospheric Mellotron melodies that radiate a trance-like euphoria. "With this album I felt very free in my vocal performance, which has a lot to do with Adrian hearing something in my voice and helping me to explore that," adds Burton.

When Black Pumas released their self-titled debut in 2019, the Austin duo sparked a reaction that was almost as extraordinary and captivating as their music itself. Celebrated by the media, they raked in a total of 6 Grammy Award nominations (including Best New Artist and Album of the Year). In addition to live performances at the aforementioned Grammy Awards, the Black Pumas also played at the NFL Draft broadcast and Joe Biden's inauguration. They have toured throughout Europe and North and South America and have appeared on well-known late-night shows such as Jimmy Fallen, Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen DeGeneres and Stephen Colbert. Their album has sold over a million copies, and their single "Colors" alone now has over 450 million streams. Now it's time to open the band's second chapter.
