Englische Sängerin, geboren am 27.5. 1943 in Liverpool als Priscilla Maria Veronica White. Hatte 1963 das Glück, von Beatles-Manager Brian Epstein im schon legendären Cavern-Club entdeckt zu werden, als sie dort als Kellnerin arbeitete. Nahm Platte „Love of the Loved' auf und hatte keinen Erfolg. Erst mit „Anyone who had a Heart' gelang ihr 1964 der Durchbruch. „You're my World' war ein Millionenhit, der Cilla auch bei uns bekannt machte. 1969 heiratete sie ihren Betreuer und Leibwächter Bobby Willis und tritt seitdem nicht mehr häufig in Erscheinung. Aus den Hitparaden ist ihr Name nahezu ganz verschwunden, wenn gleich sie im englischen Fernsehen auch noch ihre eigene Show hat.
