Geboren 1951 in New York, Blues Musiker.

Eine Karriere über fünf Jahrzehnte, 36 Alben, unzählige Radio- und Fernsehshows und Non-Stop-Touren hat Eric Bibb zu einem der führenden Bluesmen seiner Generation gemacht. Ein progressiver Bewahrer, ein feuriger Sänger mit wahrer Seele, Evangelium und Folkwurzeln, angenehm und zugänglich, sein Blues ist ehrlich und mächtig. Ein Kritiker schrieb: "Er hat alle Zutaten für den Ruhm - hübsches gutes Aussehen, eine Stimme, die so stark und gefühlvoll ist, wie sie kommen, die Gitarrenkoteletts, um sich gegen das Beste zu halten, und er schreibt überzeugende, sensible Lieder. Sein Blues ist sauber, schön gesungen, gefühlvoll und fröhlich ". Das wöchentlich syndizierte amerikanische Programm "House of Blues Radio Hour" Gastgeber Elwood Blues (a.k.a Dan Aykroyd) erklärte einmal Eric: "Du bist das, was der Blues im neuen Jahrhundert sein sollte."
