Adolphus Bell One Man Band

(2005 'Music Maker') (41:36/13) Unglaublich, doch wahr: seit 35 Jahren fährt dieser Typ mit seinem Van durch die Südstaaten der USA und spielt auf Strassen und in Parks als 'One Man Band Show'. Seine Blues sind simple Geschichten, seine Musik ist einfach. Vielleicht liegt's gerade an der Schlichtheit, dass Adolphus Bell beeindruckt. Kein Album, was man so einfach mal nebenbei hört / This is unbelievable, but true: for 35 years this man has been playing on street corners, in parks with his 'One Man Band Show'. His blues are stories, the music is very simple. But maybe it's just because this simplicity that the music of Adolphus Bell comes across so moving.
