geb. 21. 4. 1931 in Salina - Oklahoma Record Labels: Four Star, Decca, RCA, Vocalion, Pickwick Erster Top Ten Hit: Am I That Easy To Forget (1959) Der Sänger, Gitarrist und Komponist Carl Robert Belew tingelte jahrelang durch Kneipen, bevor er bei der Louisiana Hayride Show in Shreveport festen Fuß fassen konnte. Ein Plattenvertrag folgte und damit auch gleich ein Top Ten Hit Der Erfolg hielt an bis 1968, dann ein kleines Comeback 1971 mit dem Betty Jean Robinson Hit ,All I Need Is You“.
