Valcour Records
The label Valcour was founded in 2006 by Joel Savoy with his friends Phillip Lafargue II and Lucius Fontenot. The son of Marc and Ann Savoy is the official producer and his two colleagues are responsible for communication and design. They themselves all come from southern Louisiana and bring the listeners with enthusiasm and a fine sense for good and special, the roots and history of the musical history of Cajun and Zydeco.

With Heart and Soul, the three of Valcour Records release the traditional and new Louisiana sound on CDs, which of course is mostly filled with violins, accordions and guitars.

The Valcour Records team will soon be busy with music outside of Louisiana. But they promise to stay true to your line with Cajun and Zydeco music. The CDs appear in an elegant Digisleeve and are completely available in our shop. We at Bear Family wish the Valcour Records team much success in their further releases on CDs.
