Who was/is John Fogerty ? - CDs, Vinyl LPs, DVD and more

John Fogerty

Born on 28.5.1945 in Berkeley

After various rehearsals, John Fogerty and his brother Tom, Stu Cook and Doug Clifford formed the group'Creedence Clearwater Revival' in 1967, which had its first hit parade strikers one year later. The band remained so successful until their dissolution in 1972 that they achieved a record turnover of more than 100 million marks. This turnover was also reflected in 8 golden single and 7 golden long-playing records.

The intelligent musician, who left his group to start a solo career, wrote almost all the great hits of the CCR. "Proud Mary', "Down On The Corner' or "Born On The Bayou' were written by him. With this talent John Fogerty tries - in vain so far - to build on the success of his group as a soloist.
